CONTENT WRITER - PART TIME INTERN

Are you someone who loves crafting compelling stories and simplifying ideas to make them relatable and engaging? Do you believe that creative, engaging writing can drive awareness and action for the planet? If yes, we’d love for you to join us as a part-time Content Writer Intern.

Key Responsibilities:

LinkedIn content and engagement: 

  • Write engaging posts that showcase our work, highlight workshop stories, break down sustainability news, and position Skrap as a thought leader in the space.

  • Engage with relevant voices in the sustainability space by following pages, commenting, resharing thoughtfully, and responding to interactions on Skrap’s LinkedIn page.

  • Maintain the LinkedIn content calendar and track engagement metrics to guide future content decisions.

Newsletter writing and content ideation:

  • Create periodic newsletters that highlight key updates, upcoming activities, and sustainability insights in Skrap’s voice and tone. 

  • Stay informed on sustainability trends to suggest fresh story ideas, campaign themes, and content angles.

Apply for this, if you:

  • Have prior experience in content writing, either through internships or college publications

  • Have strong writing and editing skills, with attention to clarity, tone, and structure

  • Are organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

  • Are curious about sustainability and want to help others better understand the climate and waste crisis

  • Are open to feedback and eager to learn and grow as a writer

  • Are familiar with LinkedIn as a content platform and understand its professional tone and audience

Location:
This is a remote, part-time internship (2 to 4 hours) open to candidates across India. We’re a remote-first organisation and offer flexible work hours.
